Tuesday Nights Live is an initiative by the City of Philadelphia which brings live music to partnering hotels in Center City. And if you haven’t had a chance to check one of these out, make sure to mark your calendar for 20Jan 6p-9p — when the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) of Southeastern Pennsylvania hosts Tuesday Nights Live at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. The Smooth Show will be the featured entertainment, and Mishka Vodka will have a tasting table for guests. You do not need to be part of the Divine Nine to come out and enjoy; join us for the last Tuesday Nights Live of the series!

New year, new venue: The Smooth Show is excited to kick off 2026 with a debut performance at Fringe Bar! This industrial-chic restaurant/bar has a stage and lights for in-house entertainment, and we’re excited to bring our energy (and Smoothies) to this venue. The Smooth Show is honored to participate in the Radiant Rhythms of Hopes fundraiser. Join us on 01Nov2025 from 3:00p-5:00p as we celebrate the life and legacy of Kevin Glenn and raise funds in support of ALS United Mid-Atlantic. Though Saxophonist Stephen Mitnaul will not be part of this performance, you’re in for a special treat as vocalist Sherry Wilson-Butler will accompany the band for portions of the performance. Canaan Baptist Church is hosting its Jazz & Jokes event on Friday 26Sep from 6:30p-8:30p at Center in the Park. I’ll be returning to Chayz Lounge on Thursday 05Jun to perform as a prequel to my high school class’ 20th year reunion. As such, it only made sense for this performance to be co-headlined with my classmate and friend, Brittany Turnipseed. We will be accompanied by Rod Foster & Company to perform songs that remind of us our high school years — featuring jazz, R&B, and soul.
